CarHA ("the App") is a CarPlay application that allows users to control their Home Assistant smart home installation directly from Apple CarPlay.
We do not collect any personal information. The App does not transmit any data to us or to any third party.
CarHA communicates exclusively and directly with the Home Assistant server configured by the user. All communication occurs between your device and your own Home Assistant instance. This may be on your local network or via a secure connection such as Tailscale or Nabu Casa.
The App stores the following information locally on your device only:
This data is stored in the app's private local storage and is never transmitted to any server other than your own Home Assistant instance.
CarHA does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services.
The App requires network access solely to communicate with your Home Assistant server. No other network connections are made.
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
